{"id":1392,"date":"2013-09-19T18:53:53","date_gmt":"2013-09-19T18:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mirausa.net\/wpmirausa\/22\/wordpress\/2013\/09\/19\/lina-morales\/"},"modified":"2013-09-19T18:53:53","modified_gmt":"2013-09-19T18:53:53","slug":"lina-morales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mirausa.net\/?p=1392","title":{"rendered":"South Florida Celebrates the Colombian Culture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-717\" src=\"https:\/\/mirausa.net\/wpmirausa\/22\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/MIRA-USA-Celebra-Festival-Colombia-Contigo-en-sur-de-la-florida-image.jpg\" border=\"0\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" style=\"float: left; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" \/>PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. \u2013 After being celebrated in 11 cities throughout the U.S. this year, the cultural agenda \u201cColombia Contigo\u201d successfully closed its first cycle with an event that gathered the community from Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach counties.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Click <a class=\"caption\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/mirausa\/sets\/72157635549801275\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here <\/a>to see the pictures of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Over a thousand of residents from these counties came together, all eager to learn about the culture of the different Colombian regions, which was displayed in illustrative tents, containing the most significant elements of the Atlantic and Pacific Coast, as well as the Andes, Amazon and Los Llanos regions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Likewise, many of those in attendance had the opportunity to partake of an educative experience through Colombian folk games and traditional dishes, whereas others just reminisced about old times in their country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.3em;\">Traditional dances were also part of the Colombian cultural display.
