to view pictures of the event.<\/span><\/p>\nVoices for Children is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to help ensure that each of the abused, abandoned and neglected children in the foster care system of Miami-Dade County has a guardian ad litem appointed by the court, as well as financial assistance and other resources to meet their health, educational and social needs.<\/p>\n
Approximately five hundred people, many of them philanthropists, entrepreneurs and recognized community leaders attended the event to show support and raise funds for the Foster care kids in Miami-Dade County. The event was also attended by the Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez.<\/p>\n
The Miraists performed tasks such as greeting guests and helping in the silence auction to raise funds, in which guests auctioned local and national services and luxury goods.<\/p>\n
