With great enthusiasm dozens of\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Miraists<\/span><\/span>\u00a0participated in a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>huge<\/span><\/span>\u00a0planting day of\u00a0750 trees,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0not only to beautify the green area of \u200b\u200ba school south of Charlotte, but also\u00a0helping to\u00a0expand the stunning North Carolina forest. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The activity was held on Saturday, November 4<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>at Southwest Middle School, where many\u00a0volunteers\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0r<\/span><\/span>epresenting different organizations, schools and local groups, arrived\u00a0at 9:00 a.m. <\/span><\/span>to participate in the environmental activity led by the Trees Charlotte organization.<\/span><\/span>

\nAt least 60 volunteers, including adults, youth and children, wore their blue t-shirt that identified them as\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Miraists<\/span><\/span> and<\/span><\/span>\u00a0when th<\/span><\/span>ey were ready to begin the task, <\/span><\/span>they received training by an expert who instructed them in the process of planting the trees correctly.<\/span><\/span>
\nArmed with shovels, rakes and gloves, the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Miraists <\/span><\/span>were distributed in groups to speed up the work and after\u00a0several hours and close to\u00a0<\/span><\/span>midday\u00a0<\/span><\/span>was\u00a0 beautifully finished.<\/span><\/span>
\nAfterwards, all the volunteers were gathered near the school building where they received thanks by the organizers and were invited to enjoy a delicious lunch.<\/span><\/span>
\n“We appreciate the participation of the great MIRA USA organization,” said Heike Biller, event director of Trees Charlotte.<\/span><\/span>
\nThis is one of the favorite family activities of the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Miraists, <\/span><\/span>who have been collaborating with Trees Charlotte for several years now\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and\u00a0in 2017<\/span><\/span>\u00a0for the fourth time\u00a0\u00a0in different environment<\/span><\/span>al events around the Queen City.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
