\"\"<\/a>Considering the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, no officer, official, or other person employed by the Pennsylvania Judiciary at any level shall execute an eviction, removal, or displacement from a residence based upon the failure to make a monetary payment. Such payments include rent, loan and property tax payments. This order is extended through April 30, 2020.<\/p>\n

In addition, if your landlord changes your locks, bars your door, cuts off your utilities, removes your possessions, or otherwise forces you out of your home, you can take the following steps:<\/p>\n

1. Call 911 and report an illegal self-help eviction to the police
\n2. File an emergency petition with the Court of Common Pleas.
\n3. Follow a complaint with the Attorney General
\nwww.attorneygeneral.gov\/submit-a-complaint<\/a>.<\/p>\n

4. Call 267- 443- 2500 for the Tenant Hotline<\/p>\n
