MIRA USA Joined the Red Cross During Marathon in New York
New York, NY – Last Sunday November 1st, MIRA USA volunteers, who were previously well trained by the Red Cross in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), joined this prestigious organization for a long and rich experience during the marathon in New York.
The “TCS New York City Marathon”, is the most famous annual marathon in the world that runs through the five boroughs of New York and brings together a large crowd of attendees and participants from around the world, which requires the integration of many Red Cross volunteers for coverage.
Christopher Mercado, Red Cross Regional Manager of the Department of Emergency Communications Center said of MIRA USA: “We know of their efforts and commitment, thanks for the support of Miraists who teamed with the Red Cross to help the community”.
