5. Immigration Services Disclaimer
MIRA USA, INC. is a Recognized Organization of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). It provides immigration legal services through qualified DOJ Accredited Representatives.
The MIRA USA ICM Platform is a case management tool that supports those services. It is not a law firm. It does not replace legal advice or representation from a qualified immigration professional.
The Platform helps MIRA USA and its authorized staff manage their work. This includes case workflows, forms, documents, beneficiary information, and communications. The Platform itself does not give legal advice, legal representation, or immigration counseling.
MIRA USA and its authorized immigration staff are responsible for:
- Following all immigration laws, regulations, and DOJ Recognition and Accreditation rules
- Checking that immigration forms and supporting documents are accurate and complete before filing
- Making sure services are provided only by people who are properly authorized, licensed, or accredited
- Making all legal and case decisions for the matters they manage on the Platform
- Protecting confidential beneficiary and case information under applicable legal, organizational, and security rules
Immigration laws, forms, and government procedures change often. The Platform does not guarantee that its forms, workflows, or templates reflect the most current rules. MIRA USA, INC.’s authorized professionals are responsible for confirming current requirements for each matter.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and brand, belongs to MIRA USA, INC. and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service only for the purposes MIRA USA, INC. authorizes and while your account is active.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.
7. Your Data
You keep all ownership rights to the data you submit. This data includes immigration case data, documents, client information, and financial records (“User Data”).
By using the Service, you give us a limited license to process and store User Data, and to transmit it directly to USCIS through authorized channels when needed to file or check your matters, as well as to the providers listed in Section 8 that help us operate the Service. We use User Data only to provide the immigration services you requested from MIRA USA, INC. and to operate and improve the Platform. If we want to use it for other MIRA USA, INC. programs or services, we will ask for your consent first.
You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed to submit User Data, including personal information about your clients or beneficiaries. Immigration matters often involve information about other people, such as relatives, dependents, sponsors, or minors. Where required, you agree to get their consent before you submit their information, and you understand that submitting it may affect those people.

The Service uses these third-party providers for core features:
- Kinde: sign-in and identity management
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): cloud hosting and document storage
- Resend: email delivery
- MongoDB: database hosting
- OVHCloud: website and Platform hosting
Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We choose providers that meet our security and privacy standards, but we are not responsible for their independent actions.
9. Payment
Fees for the services MIRA USA, INC. provides through the Platform are disclosed before the service starts and on each invoice.
- We issue invoices based on your billing cycle
- Payment is due within the period shown on each invoice
- Late payments may result in charges under the applicable services agreement. After written notice, past-due amounts may be referred for collection, which may include reporting to credit reporting agencies, as allowed by applicable law
- We may suspend access for overdue accounts after reasonable notice
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that we will fix every defect. We do not guarantee that any information provided through the Service, including USCIS form templates and workflows, is accurate, complete, or current. Case status and related information may come from USCIS systems and may not reflect real-time status. USCIS maintains the official record for every immigration case.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, MIRA USA, INC. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes loss of profits, data, or business opportunities that arise from or relate to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for all claims related to the Service will not exceed the total fees you paid during the three (3) months before the event that caused the claim. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, including when it relates to the protection of your data.
12. Indemnification
You agree to protect MIRA USA, INC. from certain claims. In legal terms, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MIRA USA, INC. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents. This covers any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from or relate to:
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Actions of authorized users under your account
- Any false, inaccurate, or unauthorized information you submit through the Service
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from MIRA USA, INC.’s own breach, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, or from legal decisions made by MIRA USA, INC. or its accredited representatives in the cases they manage.
13. Termination
You may end these Terms at any time by closing your account, as explained in Section 14. We may end them with 30 days’ written notice. We may also suspend or end your access right away if you break these Terms or do something that threatens the security or integrity of the Service.
14. How to Close Your Account
You can close your account at any time in your account settings or by emailing icmregistrations@mirausa.net. Before or after closing it, you can ask us for a copy of your data, as explained in Section 15. After closure, we handle your data under Section 15 and our Privacy Policy.
15. What Happens to Your Data When Your Account Ends
We keep your information while your account is active or as needed to run the Service. Specific retention periods:
- Active accounts: we keep data while the account is active
- Closed accounts: we delete data within 90 days of closure, unless the law requires us to keep it
- Dormant accounts: if an account is inactive for 24 months, we send a notice; if we get no reply within 30 days, we schedule the account and its data for deletion
- Billing records: we keep these for 7 years, as tax and financial rules require
- Audit logs: we keep these for 3 years for compliance
If the law or the rules that apply to MIRA USA, INC. as a DOJ Recognized Organization require us to keep case files longer, we will keep them only for that period and then delete them.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida. These Terms are available in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Email you at least 30 days before the changes take effect
- Post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date
- Give you a plain-language summary of what changed
For material changes, we will get your active consent before they take effect. For non-material changes, continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with a change, you may close your account before the effective date.
18. Features That Depend on USCIS
Some Platform features depend on USCIS APIs. USCIS may suspend, limit, or change that access at any time. If that happens, those features may stop being available or may work differently, and MIRA USA, INC. will not be liable for it.
You must use the information the Platform obtains from USCIS only to manage cases you are authorized to handle, and you must follow the terms of use USCIS sets for its APIs. You may not use the Platform to look up cases you are not authorized to access.
19. General Provisions
- Severability: if a court finds that any part of these Terms is invalid or cannot be enforced, that part will be enforced to the fullest extent allowed, and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any services agreement signed with MIRA USA, INC. are the entire agreement about your use of the Service. If they conflict, the signed agreement controls.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce any part of these Terms, that does not mean we give up the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: you may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with the protections in Section 4.4 of the Privacy Policy.
- Force majeure: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, internet or cloud provider outages, or government actions, including the suspension of USCIS APIs.
- Survival: Sections 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, and 20 remain in effect after these Terms end.
20. Death of a Client or User
If a client or user dies, MIRA USA, INC. keeps their information confidential and will release it, only to someone with legal authority to receive it.
To make a request, the requester must email icmregistrations@mirausa.net and send:
- A copy of the death certificate
- A document showing their legal authority, such as a court appointment as personal representative of the estate (executor or administrator), a court order, or another document valid under applicable law
- A valid government-issued ID
Once we verify the request:
- We will deliver the client’s information to the verified legal representative in CSV, Excel, or PDF format, as appropriate. Family members without legal authority will receive only general information, unless the client authorized otherwise in writing during their lifetime
- If the case involves other beneficiaries, such as a spouse or children, MIRA USA, INC. may continue to assist them with their own authorization, under applicable immigration rules
MIRA USA, INC. may deny or limit a request when the law, its confidentiality duties as a DOJ Recognized Organization, or a court order requires it.
