Plantation, Florida- With the purpose of spreading the Miraist ideology and extending the organization’s commitment to the community, several Miraists in the Floridian city will begin receiving training from the American Red Cross for the first time.

The project named “Preparedness Education for Miraists in Case of Emergencies and Natural Disasters” starts in February and was launched during an event in Plantation.

The American Red Cross will train Miraists on how to respond in the event of disasters, fires and other emergencies. In addition, the organization will teach them how to provide assistance in shelters when a natural disaster occurs.

Although this program will only be offered to Floridian Miraistas in the beginning, it could spread to other states later on; this could be a great opportunity for MIRA USA to participate in all of the programs of such a globally renowned institution as is the Red Cross.
