Miami, FL – MIRA USA and other local organizations hosted a farewell tribute at the Miami International Airport Convention Center, to thank Miami’s ex-Colombian Consul General, Carmenza Jaramillo, for her contributions to the Colombian community.

Jaramillo also served as President of the Colombian American Chamber of Commerce in Miami and is leaving the United States to start a new position as Colombia’s General Ambassador to China. She said that the people of Miami have her affection and friendship.

“[MIRA USA] was the first organization to support me,” she said.
