Cleanup of the Miami River Helps Attract New Businesses

Miami, FL – “The beautification and cleaning of the Miami River that MIRA USA has been doing in the Sunshine State has contributed to attracting the opening of new businesses,” said President of the Miami River Commission, Horacio Stuart Aguirre.

On Saturday Jan. 19, 2013, 40 Miraists gathered to plant trees, pick up garbage, remove weeds and apply 100 bags of mulch as part of a cleanup activity of the North River Sector of the Miami River.
