ORLANDO, Fla. – Last Saturday April 27, Miraists in Orlando (Florida) carried a second ecological day on Hoffner Ave. and Semoran Blvd. with the program Adopt A Highway.

During the day, 21 bags of trash were collected, most of which were composed of debris that were found in the streets, canals, shrubs and bus stops, even when on the stops there are trash cans to throw the trash in.

The purpose of this activity was to create awareness among people to protect the environment, which we depend on to live and which future generations will inherit.
