The meaningful events that took place on May 21 at the Judiciary Committee, which led to the final markup approval of the bill that would reform the current immigration system in the United States is a historical and promising event.

MIRA USA – as a nationwide civic organization – celebrates the 15 positive votes, which allow the bill to go to Senate floor for debate. This brings us one step closer to a fair and human immigration reform to improve the quality of life of 11 million undocumented immigrants that live in the country.
