“Thanks to the good work of MIRA USA, the restoration of Glen Echo Park is possible,” said Erik (no surname), biologist of the place for six years. Close to 30 Miraists helped to remove bamboo trees, benefiting the community of the area and the native flora and fauna of the park. The bamboo was donated to feed the pandas of the Smithsonian National Zoo.
