Miami, Florida – A group of 25 Miraists worked in the IV Fair of services for Colombians on September 26 and 27, 2015.
The fair was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia through the General Consulate of Colombia in Miami, along with the Department of Migration Affairs, the Consular and Citizen Service and the Colombia Unites Us program.
At the show, Colombians had access to a diversified portfolio of services with the participation of 25 Colombian entities such as DIAN, EAN, FNA, Bancolombia, Davivienda, CAMACOL, Land Restitution Unit, ISETEX, SENA, Colpensiones, etc.
In addition, about 60 local official and non-profit organizations offered free information and assistance on issues such as education, finance, preventive health, immigration, legal counseling, domestic violence counseling and other topics of great interest for the welfare of community. The event also included a free preventive health day.
The Miraists assisted in the smooth running of the Fair, by supporting exhibitors, presenters and by helping in the general organization of the event given the large number of entities and services rendered. They also worked in the mobile consulate, by the reception and in the survey of the audience to evaluate the event’s effectiveness.
This effort is part of MIRA USA’s commitment to improve the quality of life of the community.
