Miami, FL – On Saturday, January 16, 2016, a group of Miraists in South Florida gathered to join “Be a Voice Gala” organized by “Voices for Children”. This gala is held annually at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami and aims to raise funds for the needy children of Miami-Dade County.

Voices for Children is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to help ensure that each of the abused, abandoned and neglected children in the foster care system of Miami-Dade County has a guardian ad litem appointed by the court, as well as financial assistance and other resources to meet their health, educational and social needs.
Approximately five hundred people, many of them philanthropists, entrepreneurs and recognized community leaders attended the event to show support and raise funds for the Foster care kids in Miami-Dade County. The event was also attended by the Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez.
The Miraists performed tasks such as greeting guests and helping in the silence auction to raise funds, in which guests auctioned local and national services and luxury goods.
This is the fifth year that MIRA USA participates in the event as part of its commitment to Voices for Children to improve the quality of life of children in Miami-Dade County.
