Gloria Ávila, an Accredited Representative to the Hispanic Services Council, did the presentation about Knowing Your Rights. Focused on what to do and what not to do in case of being detained by a police officer or immigration agent at the place of residence, the workplace, driving the car, in a public establishment, on the street, etc.
The attendees managed to clear all their doubts and concerns in a question and answer session led by Immigration Lawyer Jorge Rivera, who answered all the questions and offered some recommendations to start, continue or expedite immigration processes satisfactorily.
This discussion was very helpful for all participants who were very happy and grateful to MIRA USA for having served as a bridge to resolve their immigration questions.
