
Alexandria, VA – On Saturday, April 21, 2018, Miraists from Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C region participated with the Potomac Conservancy in the environmental event that was organized to celebrate Earth Day.

The event was attended by different organizations and a group of volunteers including more than 25 Miraists, who gathered to clean one of the most important water sources in Washington D.C, the Potomac River. MIRA USA volunteers supported this work for the benefit of the environment and the community of the area that has as a source of drinking water the Potomac River.
Miraístas toured the trails near the river and collected more than 30 bags of garbage that harm the well-being of the environment. Thanks to the participation of the miraístas and other organizations, the event generated great impact for the benefit of the environment.
